  • The caged fullbore spinner flowmeter (mechanical section) is run at the bottom end of the production logging tool (PLT) string. The spinner consists of a impeller and a cage, which may be collapsed to the size of tool diameter for running in and pulling out of tubing. The cage assembly is designed to protect the impeller and to center the tool in highly deviated wells.
    Two models of caged fullbore spinner flowmeters are available: the 3-arm and 6 -arm models.
