Hunting’s Opti-TEK Hydarulic Rapid Close Unit is designed to speed up the close function of the shear and seal ram sets on a WLV in order to meet new industry demands on closure time. The unit is an upgrade to existing systems, and is compatible with all existing control units and WLVs (regardless of manufacturer), avoiding the need to replace existing equipment. The unit is controlled by the existing control unit that users are familiar with, and can be located in any convenient position.
